A villa, built between 1918 and 1937 by Ito Jirozaemon Suketami XV, the 1st president of Matsuzakaya Department store. Attractions such as the tea ceremony room called Sanshotei, and a corridor bridge known as Hakuun Bridge are in the garden.
Choshokaku, which was once used as a guesthouse, is an interesting mix of Japanese, Indian, English, and other international styles. There are five buildings located here, designated as Tangible Cultural Properties by the city of Nagoya.
